The B.S. to M.S. degree in IT is an investment in your future to gain the knowledge and skills for advancement to increase your earning potential. An extensive portfolio of class assignments and projects offers the opportunity to showcase to potential employers higher-level thinking and communication skills. Classes emphasize hands-on learning, and courses are aligned with industry certifications such as CompTIA’s, Net+, and Security+. Students accepted into this competitive program begin their studies toward the M.S. in Information Technology while completing their bachelor’s degree in IT or another discipline with a minor in Information Technology.

The B.S. to M.S. in Cybersecurity gives students a faster route to an advanced degree in five years. Undergraduates who wish to accelerate their progress toward completion of their master’s can apply for this competitive pre-M.S. program at the end of their junior year or beginning of their senior year. An extensive portfolio of class assignments and projects offers the opportunity to showcase to potential employers critical thinking and communication skills, a major requirement in today’s cybersecurity field.
The B.S. in Health Sciences/Public Health track to M.S. in Health Education and Promotion program at Marymount responds to the growing demand for health management professionals focused on the prevention of disease through the achievement of optimal health and physical fitness. This program provides students with the necessary resources to educate the public on preventive health care through lifestyle modification.
Students majoring in eligible undergraduate programs (see below for the list of eligible programs) at Marymount have the opportunity to begin their graduate coursework in the M.B.A. program while still completing their undergraduate requirements. Students enrolled in this combined, fast-track program may be eligible to use M.B.A. courses to satisfy both undergraduate and graduate program requirements.
The bachelor’s and master’s in Business Administration prepare business professionals to identify emerging business problems, think critically about options, and design, recommend, and manage principled and effective solutions in an evolving global world. The guaranteed admissions is a clear path to gain automatic admissions to the M.B.A. program at Marymount without taking the GMAT/GRE. The M.B.A. program may be pursued fully online, fully on-campus, or a combination of both.
Applicants who earned a Business-related degree from Marymount with a GPA of 3.4+ will be fully admitted to the M.B.A. program on completion of Marymount’s admissions process. The standardized test requirement is waived.
Applicants who earned a Non-Business Baccalaureate from Marymount in the prior three years with a GPA of 3.4+, with a grade B or better in MA 151 (or a higher numbered math course and complete three writing intensive courses) will be fully admitted to the M.B.A. program on completion of Marymount’s admissions process. The standardized test requirement is waived.
Exceptional students admitted to our scholars programs are guaranteed admission into competitive Marymount graduate programs. Once a qualifying student is accepted by the program’s admissions committee, stringent continuation requirements must be maintained.
Open to a select group of incoming first-year and transfer students who have declared psychology as their intended major, this program is for students interested in becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Marymount’s CACREP accredited program offers three specializations in Clinical Mental Health, Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and School Counseling and includes coursework needed for licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) in 60 credit hours. Individuals are eligible to sit for the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) examination at Marymount toward the end of their program of study and begin the supervised experience necessary to become a LPC.
Admission to this program guarantees admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, is open to well-qualified incoming freshmen as well as a limited number of well-qualified transfer students. Transfer students may apply to enter the program (transferring with less than 60 credits transferring; at least 2 semesters needed at Marymount before the PT application cycle.)
Marymount’s Forensic Scholars Program offers you an opportunity to guarantee your place in the University’s competitive Forensic and Legal Psychology master’s program. The Forensic Scholars Program is open to a select group of incoming first-year students, current Marymount students, and transfer students who are Psychology B.A. or Criminal Justice B.A. majors.
